Marquette – The Marquette Downtown Development Authority will host the Phil Niemisto Statue unveiling on Tuesday, October 17 at 3 p.m. in the Phil Niemisto Pocket Park, 144 W. Washington Street in downtown Marquette.
Funds for the creation of the Phil Niemisto statue came from the generous donations of community members. The public is invited to attend and participate in the celebration of the unveiling of the statue, which was created by local Marquette Artist Earl Senchuk.
