A meeting focusing on the Emerald Ash Borer is set for Wednesday, March 12 at 7 p.m. at the MSU Extension of Alger County in the Mather Building, 413 Elm Avenue in Munising. Jim Isleib will talk about the impact of the Emerald Ash Borer on the forest health and the efforts to control its spread in Michigan. Private and industrial forest land owners, forestry professionals, recreational land managers and all others interested in environmental and economic issues are encouraged to attend.
