Calendar – Benefits/Fundraisers – Friends of the Poor Walk/Run in Ishpeming – Aug. 26

Ishpeming – A Friends of the Poor Walk/Run will be held on Saturday, August 26 beginning at 9 a.m at the Iron Ore Heritage Trail Trailhead, 400 N. Third Street in Ishpeming.

The event will include a 5K run and a 1 to 2 mile walk. Prizes will be awarded and the first 100 participants will receive t-shirts. The race fee is a $5 minimum donation. Proceeds will help local families in need through the efforts of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conferences.
