Ishpeming – Out of the Blue — The Gathering Place, a new ministry in Ishpeming, will have a kick-off event on Sunday, August 13 from 2 to 5 p.m. at United Presbyterian Church, 112 E. Euclid Street in Ishpeming.
The ministry, formed by four churches, will hold social afternoons once a month on the second Sunday. The Gathering Place is open to singles, families with children and any one who is interested in conversation, card or board games, working puzzles, and more. The four host churches are United Presbyterian, Grace Episcopal Church, Salvation Army, and Mission Covenant.
