A Personal Trainer Certification Workshop will be held on Saturday, March 8 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Sunday, March 9 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Baraga County Memorial Hospital Rehab and Fitness Center in L'Anse. The workshop includes demonstrations and practical application of one-on-one training, an exercise science review with an expert trainer from the National Exercise and Trainers Association, communication skills, exercise programming, health assessmentsl and more. The workshop registration includes a written exam with a two-year certification and membership to NETA. Advance registration is $379 and $389 at the door.
