Negaunee – The Negaunee Irontown Association will sponsor the 2017 Pioneer Days Celebration from Friday, June 30 through Saturday, July 8 at various locations in Negaunee.
This is the 38th year of Pioneer Days being held in Negaunee. Activities offered during this week long event include Alumni Softball games at LaCombe Field, church activities, a Downtown Iron Street Market, a children’s bike parade and Elks children’s fun day at the Negaunee Ice Arena, Fraternal Organization activities, NHS Reunions, a car cruise, fireman’s tournament, along with a variety of programs at the Negaunee Senior Center, the Negaunee Historical Society, Negaunee Library and the Historic Vista Theater.
The Grand Finale on Saturday, July 8 offers our community and visitors a parade on Iron Street, a Community Picnic at Teal Lake, with the Spectacular fireworks display over Teal Lake at dusk.
