Marquette – A traditional music jam will be held on Saturday, May 13 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Community Room of the at the Peter White Public Library.
Join other musicians for a community jam session celebrating traditional folk music. Acoustic musicians and vocalists are invited to bring their instruments for an informal gathering to play music together. A limited quantity of sheet music is available for use for those not familiar with the songs.
A music jam is not about performing, but a chance for people interested in traditional acoustic music share their love of music and learn a new song or instrumental technique. Listeners and singers are always welcome.
