Marquette – Tasty Reads, a book group for readers who like to cook, will focus on American Pie: Slices of Life and Pie from America’s Back Roads by Pascale le Draoulec on Tuesday, May 2 at noon in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Traveling across the country in her Volvo named Betty, Pascale searches for the perfect slice of pie and addresses the question: “Does pie still have a place in our fast-food nation?” Share your thoughts about the book and a recipe inspired by it.
