Marquette – The City of Marquette, along with hundreds of communities nationwide, will March for the Climate on Saturday, April 29 beginning with an assembly at 9:45 a.m. at the Marquette Commons in downtown Marquette. The march will begin promptly at 10 a.m.
The Marquette Climate March will end with a party at the Commons from noon to 2 p.m. with food, music, and information on how our community is reacting and taking action in the face of a changing climate. This is a family friendly event to raise awareness about a global issue, and a call to action demanding our government in Washington pay attention. Please bring signs and noise makers!
If you plan to attend, please RSVP at www.peoplesclimate.org so your action can be counted. To learn more
