Marquette – The Northern Michigan University Music Department Guest Artist Series will feature a concert with Marquette native and soprano Stephanie Beinlich on Wednesday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall on the campus of NMU.
Beinlich is a versatile soprano with extensive experience onstage and behind the scenes. In 2011, she studied with Seraphic Fire at the Professional Choral Institute, where she sang on their Grammy-nominated recording of Brahms’ “Ein deutches Requiem.” Other recent recordings include “Beneath the Ice” the debut album of composer George Fetner. She also holds degrees in voice and pedagogy from Western Michigan University and the University of South Carolina. Beinlich is on faculty with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and has previously taught at Newberry College and the University of North Dakota.
The concert is free and open to the public.
