Marquette – All are invited to participate in a four-day Lenten mission that will begin on Sunday, March 19 from 3:30 to 5 p.m., followed by a potluck dinner, at St. Michael Catholic Parish in Marquette.
From Monday, March 20 through Wednesday, March 22, the mission will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. followed by a social. The mission will include the celebration of the Mass on March 22. Called “Time for God in a Busy World,” the mission will be led by Oblate Father John Graden and Mary Sellars Malloy.
Partially funded by Legacy of Faith and a donation by St. Christopher Parish of Marquette, the mission will include Scripture, music, prayer and reflection. Freewill offerings to offset the cost of the mission to St. Michael Parish will be accepted. Childcare will be provided by the Father Marquette Middle School eighth grade families as a class fundraiser. For more information, contact St. Michael Parish at 228-8180.
