Calendar – Music – Bluesday Tuesday to Feature Mike Letts and the Marquettes – Jan. 31

Marquette – Bluesday Tuesday will welcome local blues band, Mike Letts and the Marquettes, in a live concert on Tuesday, January 31 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

Formed in 2010 as a father and son project, Mike Letts and the Marquettes play music solidly centered in traditional blues. The band’s sound stays true to the blues tradition with a wide variety of styles from west coast swing to Texas shuffle and urban Chicago grooves. The band’s members are Mike Letts on guitar and vocals, his son Jon Letts playing upright and electric bass, Travis Swanson, on guitar and vocals and Jim Cohen on the drums.
