Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a snowshoe hike on the Vielmetti-Peters Conservation Reserve on Thursday, February 9 from 2-4 p.m. Reserve owner Kathy Peters will lead the hike on the 123-acre reserve.
Attendees should meet at the northwest end of the Lowe’s parking lot to carpool to the reserve and should dress for the weather with sturdy boots. A few extra pairs of snowshoes are available, if needed. Contact Carole Bard by calling 228-9367 to reserve snowshoes or for more information on the event.
Attendance is $3 for NCLL members and $8 for non-members. Register by February 2 by calling 227-2979.
