Escanaba – “Businesses and Service Dogs”, a free educational talk tailored for businesses, will be held on Thursday, January 19 beginning at 6 p.m. in Room 952A in the Joseph Heirman Center on the campus of Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba.
Businesses, you have rights, and using your rights actually helps service dog owners. The program is about the interactions between businesses and the various assistance dogs you may encounter. This will be followed by questions from the audience. Topics include what is and is not a service animal, handling a suspected fake service animal, and where to find the laws to defend yourself.
The event is presented by Yooper Service Dogs and Bay de Noc Kennel Club. Katie Johnson will be the presenter. The public is welcome to attend.
