Rapid River – The 43rd Annual Christmas Bazaar and “Christmas from Yesteryear” dinner will be held on Saturday, December 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Congregational Church, 7891 Cleveland Street in Rapid River.
The “Christmas from Yesteryear” old-time Christmas dinner will feature ham and all the trimmings. There will also be a bake sale, cookie plates (2 1/2 dozen assorted cookies for $7), crafts, fruit cakes ($8.50), and raffles. The raffle prizes are $300 for first place, $200 for second and $100 for third. Cost for the dinner is $9.50 for adults and older children, children 5-12 $3 and under 5 eat free.
All day long in Rapid River, will be the 43rd Annual “Christmas in Rapid River.” Craft sales will be held in several locations, including specials at many of the businesses.
