Marquette – A free Thanksgiving meal will be served on Thursday, November 24 from noon to 4 p.m. at Aubree’s Pizzeria and Grill, 227 W. Washington Street in Marquette.
Items on the menu include roasted turkey, stuffing, three-bean casserole, candied yams, mashed potatoes and
gravy, corn bread, salad and pumpkin pie. The purpose is simple: to feed those in our community who are battling hunger, as well as those who simply may not have anyone with whom to share a holiday meal.
Gordon Food Service will support the meal by providing a portion of the food, and pastors and members of North Iron Church in Ishpeming will be volunteering to serve the meal.
