Calendar – Holidays – 6th Annual Marquette “Winter Snow Fun” Holiday Parade and 41st Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony – Dec. 2

Marquette – The 6th annual Marquette “Winter Snow Fun” Holiday Parade will be held on Friday, December 2 beginning at 6 p.m. on North Third Street and ending at the Marquette Commons.

The United States Postal Service will be collecting letters to Santa along the parade route. Letters should include a return address. New this year, Valle’s Village Market will be collecting can goods for the TV6 Canathon during the Holiday Parade. Any non-perishable food item will be accepted.

This downtown tradition complementing the City’s 41st annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Marquette Commons, features all of the traditional offerings of the holiday season, including sleigh bells, colored lights and the jolly man himself.

Visits with Santa to follow the parade inside at the Marquette Commons.
