Marquette – The Matinee Movie Series will feature the film “Fathers and Daughters” on Tuesday, October 18 at 12:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
This drama protrays a tubulent parent-child relationship between an acclaimed writer struggling to care for his young daugher, Katie, following a car accident that kills his wife and leaves him with a head injury. Years later, Katie is a social worker whose long-standing intimacy issues are put to the test when she tires to connect with an abused child.
The film is rated R. Closed captioning will be on for access to all. Bring a lunch, if you wish. Admission is free.
