Marquette – A Michigan Youth Challenge Academy informational event will be held on Tuesday, October 18 at 3 p.m. at the Marquette Army National Guard Armory, 1820 Lincoln Avenue in Marquette.
Looking for help with your troubled teen? Worried about not having enough high school credits to graduate? The Michigan Youth Challenge Academy educates trains and mentors at-risk youth in a quasi-military environment at no cost to participants, giving young people the skills to become productive and responsible citizens. The five month residential program gives non-traditional learners ages 16 to 18 a chance to take control of their future by providing life skills, education opportunities, and job preparation.
Spots in the upcoming class are filling up fast! For more information, contact Ms. Anica Jankowski, at 517-256-6682 or email jankowskia@michigan.gov.
