Marquette – The Kraft Hockeyville USA celebration events for Monday, October 3 will begin with close to 1,000 Marquette Senior High School students teaming up to pack 285,000 hunger relief meals from 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kraft Heinz Stop Hunger Now meal packing event at Marquette Senior High School.
StopHunger Now is a nonprofit partner of the Kraft Heinz Micronutrient Campaign dedicated to the elimination of global hunger.
A parade, honoring the Kraft Hockeyville recognition, will begin at 6 p.m. at Pine Street and Fair Avenue, traveling along North Third Street and ending at the Marquette Commons.
A Community Barbeque will follow the parade at the Marquette Commons. The public is encouraged to show their support for this exciting designation as the most passionate hockey community in America.
