Marquette – In celebration of International Archaeology Day, an Archaeology Fair will be held on Saturday, October 15 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Marquette Regional History Center, 145 W. Spring Street in Marquette.
International Archaeology Day will be celebrated throughout the world on this day. Spend a fun afternoon learning all about archaeology through hands-on activities, demonstrations, artifacts and displays at many interactive booths throughout the entire museum. Meet regional experts and see what is being discovered in the Upper Peninsula region.
The Fair is included with the cost of general admission. This is a great event for families, clubs, scouts, and all ages. Museum admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, $3 for students and $2 for youth 12 and under.
