Marquette – A Benefit Barbecue for the Peter White Public Library will be held on Sunday, September 18 from 2 to 5:30 p.m. at Steinhaus Market on South Front Street in Marquette.
The barbecue dinner will feature pork, chicken and all the fixings as well as live music throughout the day from The Knockabouts, Phil Lynch Quartet and Wildhack!
A silent auctions will feature wonderful prizes donated by community members including a Thomas Theater private VIP theater experience, 2017 Lake Superior Theater season tickets, NMU hockey tickets, dinner for two at the Piedmont and a Wisconsin Dells vacation package.
Advance tickets for the event are available now at Peter White Public Library for $10. Tickets at the door will be $12. Proceeds will benefit the Peter White Public Library’s annual fund for books and programming.
