Marquette – The Nature Conservancy is looking for volunteers to help with the annual Adopt-A-Beach cleanup on Saturday, September 17 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Presque Isle, Picnic Rocks, McCarty’s Cove, Founders’ Landing, and South Beach in Marquette.
The event will begin at Moosewood Nature Center at 8:30 a.m. to hand out supplies and break into groups before heading to the beaches to clean. The groups will return to the Moosewood at 11:30 a.m. to tally the results. Bring a lunch and head right back out and spend your afternoon on a nice, clean beach!
