Marquette – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter will host the 11th Annual Strut Your Mutt Charity Walk and 5K Fun Run on Saturday, September 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Mattson Lower Harbor Park in downtown Marquette.
UPAWS Strut Your Mutt may just be the most fun you can have while supporting your local no-kill shelter, UPAWS! It is an awesome event for four and two-legged participants of all ages. There is an optional 1.5-mile walk and a 5K Fun Run.
There will be prizes, dog contests, games, raffles and
pet-themed and people vendors. Enjoy free breakfast goodies and music while visiting with people and their dogs. The Strut is open to humans with or without dogs.
