Marquette – An antique appraisal event will be held on Thursday, September 22 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday, September 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Don’t throw it away! Find out how much that attic treasure or yard sale find is worth. Verbal item appraisals will be provided for advance ticket holders by Mark F. Moran, of Iola, Wisconsin, who has been active as an appraiser of antiques and fine art for more than 20 years. Spectators are welcome to attend at no charge and enjoy the action.
Tickets for a scheduled appraisal time are now available from the library’s circulation desk on the main floor for $15 per item. There is a limited number of tickets available for each day with a maximum purchase of 3 tickets per person. Reserve your appraisal time by calling 228-9510 with a valid credit card.
