Escanaba – The U.P. Steam and Gas Engine Association’s 41st Annual Labor Day Weekend Show and Reunion will be held Friday, September 2 through Monday, September 5 at the U.P. State Fair Grounds in Escanaba.
Show hours are:
Friday, September 2: (Preview Day) noon to 5 p.m.
Saturday, September 3: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, September 4: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday, September 5: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This year’s feature will be Hart-Parr, Oliver and Minneapolis Moline equipment. Displays will include antique tractors, antique farming equipment, gas and steam engines, many demonstrations, and a daily tractor parade at 1 p.m. and the engine Crank UP will be at 2 p.m.
The Agricultural Museum will be open, as well as the Antique Village. There will be a flea market, a gun and knife show, and an antique auto show. Also, many food vendors will be on hand.
Admission is $6 per day per person. Exhibitors and children under 14 are admitted free. $10 weekend wristbands are also available. For more information, go to www.upsteamandgasengine.org.
