Rockland – The 34th annual Old Victoria Craft Fair will be held on Sunday, August 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Old Victoria Historic Site, on Victoria Dam Road in Ontonagon County, four miles from Rockland.
The event will feature refreshments served all afternoon. Talented local artisans and crafters will be displaying their wares, some with working displays to demonstrate their craft. Old-fashioned children’s games will be held at 1 p.m. with loads of fun to play and even better to watch, with sack races, egg and spoon challenges, and water races.
At 2 p.m., enjoy a special performance by the Kivajat Dancers, a traditional Finnish-American folk dance group from Hancock. To learn more about this interesting group, visit them online at www.facebook.com/dreamingfinland.
