Marquette – The Midwest Shrine Association Summer Convention will be held Tuesday, August 2 through Sunday, August 7 in Marquette. The public invited to come out and enjoy the two hour long parade on Thursday, August 4 beginning at 6 p.m. from Washington Street to Third Street, ending at the Marquette Commons.
The public is invited to a concert with the Yeldiz Chanters on Friday, August 5 at 3 p.m. at the Presque Isle Band Shell. Also, on Friday night from 6 to 10 p.m. Washington Street. will be closed to host a Downtown Block Party. Everyone is invited to bring a chair and enjoy entertainment, a beverage tent and food.
