Marquette – The UP Health System – Marquette Trauma Department, in conjunction with Kohl’s Department Stores, will host the Kohl’s Cares Heads U.P. on Safety event on Friday, June 17 from 5 to 7 p..m. at the Marquette Commons on South Third Street.
There will be a bike safety presentation, bike licensing, bike safety and fit checks, obstacle course, and a drawing for two free bikes. This free event features hands-on learning and valuable information for families on bike safety.
The first 250 children, ages 13 and under, will receive a helmet after attending a safety program presentation. Children must be present for the entire safety program in order to receive a free helmet.
