Ishpeming – The Ishpeming Rock and Mineral Club will meet on Sunday, May 15 at 1:30 p.m. at the Cliff Shaft Mine Museum, 501 W. Euclid Street, Ishpeming.
Doors will open at 1 p.m. to allow visitors ample time to view the club’s extensive mineral collection. All are welcome to attend, enjoy, and learn about the wonders of rocks and minerals. Admission is free.
A video presentation on “Mineral Collecting in western North Carolina” will explore opportunities for gem and mineral collecting in western North Carolina.
There will be door prize and 50/50 drawings and a business meeting following the program.
