Marquette – The Marquette City Band, will present the concert “Something New – Something Blue” on Thursday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m. at Kaufman Auditorium in Marquette.
The concert will feature Marquette’s own Eric Banitt performing “Rhapsody in Blue” on piano and Kirsten Gustafson singing “Blue Moon” and other jazz and show songs. The Marquette City Band will also be performing “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and much more music for all to enjoy.
This concert is very significant, since it is the first time in the lengthy history of the Marquette City Band that it will be performing at Kaufman Auditorium.
