Marquette/Negaunee/Ishpeming/Gwinn – American Legion Auxiliary volunteers from the 33 units in the U.P. will be conducting their annual Poppy Days Fundraiser Thursday, May 19 through Saturday, May 21.
They will be at various locations throughout the area with poppies that have been handcrafted by veterans at the D.J. Jacobetti Home for veterans as a supplement to their income.
All funds donated for poppies are used for veterans in need, especially for those in veterans’ facilities like the Jacobetti Home for Veterans.
