Calumet – Enjoy an Unplugged Evening of Music with Keweenaw Brewgrass an Guests on Saturday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Calumet Theatre in Calumet.
This is an all acoustic performance for this special Calumet Theatre fundraising event. Keweenaw Brewgrass takes the audience back 116 years when the Theatre opened on March 20, 1900 and bands played without power amplification or electric loudspeakers; taking full advantage of the wonderful acoustics. Three special guests will be performing with the band during parts of the show including the fabulous Misbehavin’ herself, Gail English on vocals; the talented Louise Oppliger on vocals; and Kora Melia Johnson, fiddle player extraordinaire.
All ticket sales go to the Calumet Theatre’s “Lift Us Up” Elevator Project. General seating tickets are $10. Tickets are available noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at the Theatre Box Office, 340 Sixth Street, Calumet or phone 337-2166.
