Marquette – A six-course Scandinavian dinner with paired wines will be presented by the Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center and the U.P. Chapter of the American Culinary Federation on Tuesday, May 10 beginning with a cocktail reception with a cash bar at 6 p.m. in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center at Northern Michigan University.
Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. Upper Peninsula chefs have designed each course of Scandinavian delights. The Thimbleberry Band will provide musical entertainment and the U.P. Folklife Awards will be presented after the entrée course.
Admission is $75 per person. Proceeds support the Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center programming fund and the American Culinary Federation Upper Michigan Chapter Scholarship through the NMU Foundation.
