Marquette – “Cuba and the U.S.: What Does the Future Hold?” will be presented by Ambassador Charles Shapiro, the president of the World Affairs Council of Atlanta and former coordinator of Cuban Affairs for the U.S. Department of State, on Tuesday, March 29 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in Jamrich 3319 at Northern Michigan University.

He will talk about America’s new relations with Cuba, the presence that was maintained in Cuba before July 2015 and an insight into the future of U.S.-Cuba relations.

The event is part of the 2016 Great Decisions Global Discussion Series which features critical examinations of foreign policy presented by a roster of nationally known experts.
