A post-bariatric healthy cooking class series will be offered from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning January 22, in Room 126 of Marquette Senior High School. The classes are tailored for persons who have had bariatric surgery but are open to everyone. Participants will create several recipes to sample in class. Nutritionist Kim Hantz of the Marquette General Hospital Weight Management Department will provide fun education and foolproof recipes featuring natural and organic ingredients. The first class will offer quick and unusual breakfast options. Class size is limited. Preregistration is required by calling 225-5290. Mail the $35 fee to Marquette Community Schools, 1201 W.
