Marquette Community Schools will offer Snowshoe and Sled Dogs by Moonlight on Monday, January 21 at 7:30 p.m. at Snowy Plains Kennel in Sands Township. Participants will explore a network of private trails, experience the moonlit winter woods and observe a sled dog team running by. Refreshments will be provided. Those who attend must be capable of walking two to three miles on snowshoes. Cost is $10 for those with their own snowshoes, $15 for those requiring loaners. A limited number of loaner snowshoes will be available. Advance registration at the Marquette Community Schools Office, 1201 W. Fair Avenue is required.
