Calendar – Education – Marquette County Conservation District Leap Day Event – Feb. 29

Marquette – The Marquette County Conservation District will host a Leap Day event on Monday, February 29 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Peter White Public Library.

The event will feature updates from your local conservation district and partners. Stephen Handler, a climate change specialist, from the Northern Research Station-Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science will speak about “Climate Change and UP Forests: Risks, opportunities, and ways to adapt”.

The event is free. To register or for more information, call 226-2461.
