Marquette – Bluesday Tuesday will offer a concert with the local blues band, Mike Letts and the Marquettes on Tuesday, January 26 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Formed in 2010 as a father and son project, Mike Letts and the Marquettes play music solidly centered in traditional blues. The band’s sound stays true to the blues tradition with a wide variety of styles from west coast swing to Texas shuffle and urban Chicago grooves.
There is no admission charge to attend the event which is co-sponsored by the Marquette Area Blues Society and the Carroll Paul Memorial Trust Fund of the Peter White Public Library. Call 226-4318 or visit www.pwpl.info for more information.
