Calendar – Community – Town Hall Meeting to Address Limited Access to Healthy Foods in Michigan – Jan. 21

Marquette – The American Heart Association will host Town Hall Meetings, to discuss the lack of access to nutritious foods in Baraga and Marquette counties and across the state, on Wednesday, January 21 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Room 41 at the Marquette Board of Commissioners, 234 W. Baraga Avenue in Marquette.

According to The Food Trust, 1.8 million Michigan residents, including 300,000 children, live in communities where they do not have easy, or any, access to affordable healthy food.
