Donations Needed for Musher Bags

Donations are needed from the community for the preparation of musher bags for the U.P. 200 Sled Dog Championship and Midnight Run participants. The donated items will be placed in musher bags decorated by local school children. This year&#39s organizers are asking for 100 items to be placed in bags, but items in any amount would be appreciated. Some examples are magnets, chapsticks, granola bars, flashlights, candy, coupons for free meals, note pads, pens, or any other useful item. Be creative. Donations can be dropped off at the Lake Superior Community Partnership office at 501 S. Front Street in Marquette. Donations must be received by Monday, February 11.
