Marquette – Tasty Reads, the book group for readers who love to cook, will meet on Monday, January 11 at noon in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Discussion will center on Japanese cooking and bento boxes, which are compact, balanced, visually appealing meals packed in a box. Tasty Reads member Renee Robertson will demonstrate how to design and fill a Bento Box.
Books on Japanese cooking from the library’s collection that will inspire book group participants are located in the Sister City Room on the main level of library. Book group participants are invited to share a sample recipe inspired by one of the books. New members are always welcome.
