Marquette – More than 1,800 veterans have been honored with memorial bricks at the Marquette Area Veterans Memorial Mall. Orders will be taken through Tuesday, March 31 for bricks to be in place for the July 4 dedication.
Order forms are available in Marquette at Range Bank, City Hall, and American Legion Post 44 and online at www.superiorfishing.net.
Bricks may honor living or deceased vets from the Marquette area who served their country at any time in any branch of service.
Two lines of engraving are permitted. A $50 donation pays for the brick, engraving, shipping, installation and upkeep of the memorial.
