Marquette – The Transition Marquette County Reading Group will have a conversation about the book “5 Acres and a Dream” by Leigh Tate on Thursday, December 10 at 7 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Peter White Public Library.
In 2009 Leigh and her husband Dan bought an old farmhouse and 5 acres
of land, with the dream of developing a simplified, sustainable,
self-sufficient homestead. The book tells of the joys and struggles, the
successes and failures that followed. She also began a blog at
www.5acresandadream.com.
Anyone is welcome to join the conversation. It would help to have at
