Marquette – Wright and Filippis will sponsor a handcycling clinic followed by an adaptive bocce ball tournament on Friday, June 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tourist Park in Marquette.
This instructional clinic is designed to give persons with disabilities an opportunity to pedal with a handcycle in a controlled environment.
In addition to the handcycling clinic, adaptive bocce ball will be introduced, showcasing techniques and skills that can be used when playing in a wheelchair, with a prosthetic limb or other physical disability.
