Marquette – An Ecumenical Community Thanksgiving Service will be held on Monday, November 23 at 7 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 305 W. Magnetic Street in Marquette. The service will be broadcast live on Sunny FM 101.9 and streamed online at sunny.fm.
Pastor Dave Van Kley of Messiah will preach. The service will include Holy Communion. Choir practice will be at 6:15. for those who would like to sing during the service.
Non-perishable food donations will be collected for area food banks. Monetary offerings will be given to world hunger. There will be refreshments and fellowship following the service.
Sponsoring churches are First United Methodist, Grace Methodist, St. Paul’s Episcopal, First Presbyterian, Prince of Peace Lutheran and Messiah Lutheran. For more information call 225-1119.
