Downtown Marquette Halloween Trick Or Treat – Oct. 31

Marquette, Michigan – October 28, 2015 – Marquette’s Downtown District businesses will once again be providing a safe and fun opportunity for children to trick or treat. On Saturday, October 31, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., families can bring little ghosts and goblins door to door collecting goodies from downtown businesses.

Participating locations will have orange “Welcome Trick or Treaters” signs in their windows. Last year, more than 1,700 children and parents visited the district.

Following trick or treat, the City of Marquette and Downtown Development Authority will host the fourth annual Halloween Spectacle. This year’s theme, Moonlight Mayhem, is in tribute to awesome lunar events taking place this year. The audience will witness ghost puppets, dancing fire, musical performances, zombies from the grave and much more. As the evening grows dark, the community is invited to join in processions throughout the City starting at 6:30 p.m. and converging in the Marquette Commons at 7 p.m.

For more information, contact the Marquette Downtown Development Authority at 906-228-9475 or visit www.downtownmarquette.org.
