Marquette – The Marquette Senior High School Fine Arts Department will present “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” Thursday, November 5 through Saturday, November 7 at 7 p.m. each evening in Kaufman Auditorium in Marquette.
Directed by Susan Candey, with choreography by Jill Grundstrom, music direction by Janet Brodersen and orchestra direction by Eric Marta, “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” is a Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning musical comedy by Frank Loesser and book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock, and Willie Gilbert, based on Shepherd Mead’s satirical self-help book of the same name.
Set in the early 1960s in New York City, a young window washer uses a little handbook called “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying” to climb the corporate ladder from lowly mailroom clerk to high-powered executive.
