Marquette – Shakespeare Readers will meet to read “Shakespeare in Love” on Wednesday, November 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Written by Tom Stoppard, an award winning, modern
playwright/screenwriter, this play is the story of a young William Shakespeare, out of ideas and short of cash who meets his ideal woman and is inspired to write one of his most famous plays.
Shakespeare Readers reads the works of and related to William Shakespeare in order to better understand the writing of the Bard himself. They meet on the first Wednesday of each month and new readers are always welcome.
