Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities Conference 2015 hosted in Houghton – Oct. 7 and 8

Houghton, MichiganOctober 6, 2015 – The 4th annual Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities (CEC) Conference is going Border to Border with two new locations in 2015. The first conference will be held in the Houghton/Hancock Communities on Oct. 7 and 8, 2015 and the 2nd conference will be in downtown Sturgis on Oct.  21 and 22, 2015.  Join other like-minded communities as we learn programs and resources, share best practices and ideas, empower ourselves and others to assist entrepreneurs grow our local communities at the annual Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities (CEC) Conference brought to you by Michigan State University Extension. You will have the opportunity to learn about and experience tips and tools, best practices and success stories for fostering entrepreneurship in your community. With break-out sessions embedded in shops and venues throughout the downtown, the conference offers the unique opportunity to not only learn about, but experience an entrepreneurial community.

We encourage you to invite your colleagues, coworkers, community leaders and stakeholders. Whether you work in economic development, arts and culture, government, philanthropy, nonprofit or education, we all have a part to play in supporting local businesses and entrepreneur development in our communities.

Each conference costs only $85 and includes 2 Keynote speakers, 20+ breakout sessions, 2 lunches and a networking dinner event.
